Hello, and welcome to the Patreon page for EIDOLON: Become Your Best Self, a new tabletop RPG designed by Luke Varner and Molly Rhinebeck! EIDOLON is an RPG that's all about turning your deepest, most sacred personal truths into majestic and powerful avatars known as Eidolons. An Eidolon is your very soul given form, and posseses powers that completely shatter the boundaries of the possible. With it, you'll adventure into the unknown with your friends, and explore the shadowy corners of the world where the lines between real and imaginary are hopelessly blurred. In EIDOLON,&nbsp;your character will&nbsp;assert the beauty of their own personhood, forge unbreakable bonds with their friends, and last but not least, get into absurd and kickass fights inspired by Jojo's Bizarre Adventure&nbsp;and the Persona&nbsp;video game series.&nbsp; We have recently published the second edition of the game, which can be purchased <a href="https://reveal-your-master-plan.itch.io/eidolon2e" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">here</a>! With the core book complete, we've moved on to creating an expansion, EIDOLON: Become Your Worst Self, that adds new Playbooks focused on letting players create more villainous characters.Become Your Worst Self is the game being tested on Season 4 of Eidolon Playtest, the award winning podcast originally launched to playtest EIDOLON! Like all previous seasons, Season 4 is divided into two campaigns, Eidolon VGM and Eidolon EDM. Both games take place in the year 2222 on LUNA-1, the first city on the moon. The cast of Eidolon VGM play QA testers and content moderators for the Eidolon Coporation, who's recently launched their newest product, Undrtow, a mixed reality social media platform that lets the mind directly interface with technology. Meanwhile, the cast of Eidolon EDM plays a group of criminal hackers out to seize Undrtow, Eidolon, and LUNA-1 for themselves!Eidolon VGM features Molly Rhinebeck, Lexi Waltner, Mike Painter, Fabby Garza, and Max Knightley. Eidolon EDM features Tyberius Wilson, Zoe Tunnell, Iris Christianson, and Crystal Zaslavchik. Both games are GMed by Luke Varner. Plus, you'll get an entire second bonus podcast: Eidolon Playlist, where we discuss the music referenced throughout the main show!

Bonus Behind-the-Scenes Content!

At $5 per month, you'll receive immediate access to the plaintext versions of our completed games, as well as all previous drafts, and all drafts of our ongoing project! With regard to incomplete drafts, please keep in mind that these are works in progress, and they could very well still have some big design flaws. Early Access to the Game!

For ten dollars a month, you get access to THE GRAB BAG. Each month, we'll upload some kind of bonus content exclusive to this tier. This will usually take the form of bonus podcasts or video content, but it will vary over time! Sometimes, you may get more than a single monthly release on this tier; very rarely, a month may go by without any new release at all. More than anything, this tier represents a tip jar, a way to give us a little extra support if you're enjoying the show. Most Grab Bag bonus content won't be directly related to the main show, and will instead be ways for us to share and explore interests tangential to Eidolon. Sometimes it'll just be a platform for us to experiment with some weird or silly ideas. The soundtracks for season 1, 2, and the first interlude are available at the $5 tier, but all other soundtracks are available as part of The Grab Bag.
